AP Chemistry is a rigorous college-level course, requiring self-motivated and independent learners.
This course will extend and deepen those concepts developed in the first year Chemistry course, preparing the student to take the AP Chemistry Exam in May.
Critical thinking and lab work are emphasized.

Typical Agenda for the first week of AP Chemistry:
Day 1 Welcome Back! Quiz on elements and polyatomic ion names, symbols & charges, found on summer letter above. Reading "log" (in spiral notebook OR composition book or composition book) will be collected on Day 1. Chapter book problems should be written on separate paper, NOT in the Reading "log".
Days 2,3 & 4: Review everything for Summer Test.
Day 5 : Summer Test.
